In August 1977, Raybar truly became serious about breeding as good a Whippet as we possibly could. Roberta Russ, with breeders Anita & Moira Dunne, sent us a white & gray brindle puppy from their Chalmondoly X Rimskittle Gabrielle litter. And the rest, as they say, is history. Raybar's I'm Rim took over the household and ran our lives for 9 years. She finished at 10 months old with prestigious wins and went on to a successful show career. She was an intense courser (pulled up the pulleys if she couldn't locate the lure) and finished her ASFA field championship between winning 2 Best in Shows and having 2 litters. Her true worth was in two of her daughters, AM/Can. Ch. Raybar's On The Brink, ROM and Ch. Raybar's A Star is Born, F.Ch. as these two bitches are the true foundation of Raybar Whippets.
