In June of 1983 we acquired a fawn puppy from Frances Hembree of Atlanta. A Few-Stone Mountain was by Ch. Hound-Hill Brattleboro, CD, ROM X Ch. Elysian Glorya Rejoice, ROM. Never shown due to an injury, "Stoney" helped bring Raybar Whippets to the height of consistancy it is today. Bred to Am/Can. Ch. Raybar's On The Brink, ROM, the resulting litter paved the way for almost all of our future breedings. There were several champions in the litter, but the most significant member was a brindle bitch who never finished. She was Aymes N Raybar's Miss Oceana. "Betsy" had both majors and 12 points, but was not shown in her prime and therefore never became a champion. However, her breeding to Ch. Hamrya's Lucky Charm, SC, ROM set our future.
