Raybar's beginnings in Whippets go back to 1965 when we got our first whippet from Dick & Phyllis Becker. Pinecliff Tiffany was a little red and white bitch sired by Ch. Rouget O'Lazeland X Ch. Love Letter O'Lazeland. She met a tragic end, however, so we got Greenhaven's Mona-Me CD, sired by Ch. Ringmore Finisterre X Hollypark Hearts And Flowers to take her place. Mona was bred to Sugar-Fin Driftwood, making the litter double grandchildren of Finisterre. Our first champion, Ch. Raybar's Apricot Brandy "Shasta" was out of that litter.
