Stryker was named due to his one leg being solid brindle (Brindle Leg Stryker), and the Burt Reynolds detective sitcom at the time with same name, lol. A pretty puppy who somehow grew up to be very un-show quality. But it didn't matter, Stryker was here to stay. He was 'my boy.' Slept with his head on my pillow all of his life. I lost him at 9, to cancer. Stryker dearly loved oranges, from the tree not from the store. He would get all he could and then do his best to reach the ones he couldn't. He could stand on his hindlegs, like a dancer at times, for the longest times...hence my favorite picture of him, hunting oranges. There is not much to add about this dear, sweet Whippet except he was very loved and is dearly missed.
