Renee Clayton of Claymar Whippets. Claymar Whippets was established in 1985, when a little White Ch. Shenanigan Amber Flight daughter walked into our lives. "Lily" was never bred, but is the reason we are owned by Whippets. We met Carol Curry in 1986. Our foundation is Locar. We have incorporated Morshor, and Chelsea into our lines through the years. Carol Curry, Dianne Bleecker, and Deann Christianson have been our mentors. Without their advice Claymar Whippets wouldn't be where we are today.

One of my fondest memories is packing up the gang in hitting the road. This was back in 1987. We spent much of our vacation at Carol Curry's house. Oh, it was such a blast!!! We miss seeing Carol now that she lives in Tennessee.

We feel the future looks bright for Whippets. The breed is in Capable hands with all of the talented breeders producing some beautiful Whippets. One thing I hope that is never lost is that soft Doe look. You know, the one that melts your heart? It IS the look that made US hooked!!!
